Akiteng Gracious is a Vice Secretary of the Board of Trustees in TEYAPI4Peace. As the deputy secretary, Gracious supports the secretary in managing the communication of the organization as well as keeping all sensitive records of TEYAPI4Peace. Since graduating, Akiteng Gracious Volunteered with Eneku Village Health Centre ll in Madera Soroti City East for one year. She later established her own drug shop to provide affordable medical care to her community. Gracious Akiteng holds a Certificate in Nursing, She graduated in 2008.

Board of Trustees
The BOARD of Trustees is the supreme body that runs the organization, they recruit and employ the secretariat staff offering them direction on policy and supervision.
David Adengu - Chairman
David Adengu, is the Chairman Board of Trustees, he founded TEYAPI4Peace in 2019, and formally registered it as a CBO in 2020. Challenged by the community problems, of poverty, limited education and poor farming systems, he needed an institution to propel his vision. David was inspired to start TEYAPI4Peace in 2019 to try make a contribution to the development of Teso community.
David Holds a diploma in Building and Civil Engineering, having graduated in 2015. Due to high youth unemployment in Uganda, David volunteered with SPENCON road and bridge construction company, Dott services road construction company, China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) Construction Company and Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA). He was not able to find a full time employment. He later got employed on a road construction project on a contract basis from 2018 – 2019, since then to date, David is fully involved in running TEYAPI4Peace as the Chairperson. He oversees the organization, heads the board of trustees, recruits the volunteer staff and is a signatory to the organizations bank accounts and reports.
Sipora Aluka - Vice Chairman
Sipora is the Vice Chairperson TEYAPI4Peace, where she deputizes the chairperson board. She runs the organization in the absence of the chairperson, chairing meetings and undertaking all functions that the chairperson does. She holds a diploma in Education secondary in the field of agriculture. She has worked with several secondary schools in Uganda where she trains many young students in agriculture. She was inspired by David to join him start TEYAPI4Peace in 2020 to try over-come challenges faced in the region especially food insecurity and poverty by providing possible solution like skilling the youth in agriculture. She recently attended 10 weeks short course training in sustainable agriculture at Harper Adams University – UK
John Robert Aduka - Secretary
Aduka John Robert is the founding Secretary Board of Trustees of TEYAPI4peace. As a board secretary, John Robert manages the communication of the organization and keeps all sensitive records of TEYAPI4Peace. JR sometimes volunteer’s to train youth on climate smart agriculture, given his professional qualification in agriculture.
John has 8 years’ experience, working with poor rural smallholder farmers in training them on good agricultural practices including Climate Smart Agriculture.
John Robert Aduka holds a National Diploma in Crop Production and Management, having graduated in 2011. JR was a student at Harper Adams University where he pursued 10 weeks short course training in sustainable agriculture.
Gracious Akiteng - Vice Secretary
William Ocen - Treasurer
William is the Treasurer Board of Trustees TEYAPI4Peace. Mr. Ocen William is part of the founding team of TEYAPI4Peace who joined David to formalize the start of the organization in 2020. William heads the treasury of TEYAPI4Peace ensuring that all funds that come into the organization serve the intended purpose, he is a signatory to all organization accounts. He supervises the Accountant to ensure funds are well accounted for, supporting in the generation of financial reports and Audits.
Due to high unemployment in Uganda, Ocen William had only been Volunteering with some organizations, notably Northern Uganda Social Action Fund (NUSAF2) in Soroti Desk Office. He also serves in Church of Uganda Soroti diocese as Chairperson Laity Moru- Apesur East parish in Church of Uganda Soroti Diocese committee and as team leader is his local church in Soroti City. He is also serving as Chairman School Management Committee in Orwadai Nursery and Primary School Soroti City East.
William holds a Diploma in Project Planning and Local Government Administration, where he graduated in 2014.
